I am an audio engineer/mixer/music producer.
For four years I was mentored by five-time Grammy-winning producer/engineer/mixer Kevin Killen (U2, Elvis Costello, David Bowie), two-time Grammy-winning engineer/mixer Bob Dawson (Mary Chapin Carpenter, Dave Matthews) and multi-platinum engineer/mixer Ken Schubert (Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige).
I have worked with nationally acclaimed bands and musicians such as Native Run, Andy Zipf (The Cowards Choir), Luke Brindley, and Corey Carlson.
I was the founding Chief Audio Engineer of the Weitz Recording Studio at Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota, where I recorded and mixed music for college bands and A capella choirs, as well as performing foley and sound design for fiction and documentary films.
I own and operate Namtab Studios, where I perform remote mixing for clients. My specialty is working with acoustic, singer-songwriter, folk, rock, pop, A capella, and instrumental genres of music. Audio engineering is my love and passion. There is no environment more comfortable, enjoyable, or transformative to work in than the recording studio and there are no jobs more engaging, gratifying, or meditative than recording, mixing, and producing music.
